Securityhunter, Inc., located in Baltimore, Maryland, receives $200M Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide security systems and support services for 1,500 Social Security Administration (SSA) locations nationwide.
Securityhunter, Inc. was competitively awarded a BPA against its General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, to provide security systems and support services to various Social Security Administration (SSA) locations nationwide. This BPA provides standardized video surveillance systems (VSS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), duress alarms, and physical access control systems (PACS), and consists of equipment, installation, maintenance, and support services at SSA offices. The initiative is referred to as Physical Security Systems Standardization and Support Services (PS5). When asked what this award means to Securityhunter, CEO, Michael S. The award of the BPA allows Securityhunter, Inc. to save the federal government money by reducing the administrative costs of acquiring commercial services from the General Service Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS).
